BAGAMOYO SPIRITAN GENERAL CHAPTER

The twentieth General  Cahpter of the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit took place at Bagamoyo from 24th June to 22 July 2012. Bagamoyo is a former sea-port and slave market. The First Spiritan missionaries from Alsace - France arrived in 1868 and their First efforts to liberate the slaves, christianise them and educate them so that they could  live with Dignity.
